So far in 2017 we have seen appearances from some of the UK’s top contemporary artists, including Lawrence Coulson – who gave a live painting demonstration outside the gallery – and Paul Horton, who made the gallery his first appearance on his journey as a self-published artist.
Paul, who has been painting and successfully exhibiting his work for more than 40 years, met fans and signed pieces in the gallery as he unveiled a collection of new limited-edition prints as well as some exclusive original sketches and oils on canvas.
Treeby & Bolton are always on the lookout for new talent and this year the gallery has been spoilt for choice. They’re especially excited by the work of Jenni Murphy, whose work is instantly recognisable thanks to its colour and dreamlike qualities. Jenni creates small, intimate worlds where people stand no more than a centimetre high. Her stunning, limited edition piece, named Lido, has just sold out of edition. Another of her works, Party In The Terrace, is still available but is likely to soon follow suit and sell out.

Autumn sees the arrival of new pieces from the fabulous Sam Toft, including two beautiful new remarqued editions: so, Nice View, That and Spots N Flakes. These are limited editions of just 150, each with a unique sketch hand-drawn by Sam.

Peter Smith’s new autumn collection is sure to brighten up any winter evening. The collection of five new limited editions has been a huge hit in the gallery and includes a beautiful new work, Snow Place Like Home – the perfect Christmas present.
With Christmas just around the corner, Treeby & Bolton is the perfect place to find that special gift – innovative home accessories, and art and glass are all available in the gallery shop. If you’re getting ready to deck the halls you’ll find an array of unique decorations and festive adornments within.

Our last artist appearance of the year will be on 4 November when Moorcroft designer Kerry Goodwin will join us for the launch of her new numbered edition vase, entitled Midnight. Kerry will be on hand with her special gold pen to sign pieces on the day. Collectors will have the rare opportunity to view Moorcroft’s newly-released Autumn 2017 collection in its entirety, and will receive 10 percent off any Moorcroft bought on the day.
Having checked out the displays across the three floors, you’ll have worked up quite an appetite – thankfully our recently renovated Café serves Square Mile coffee, handmade cakes and temptinglight bites, so you’re sure to find something to tickle your tastebuds.
