Clare Wright visits the gallery

Posted on: August 16th, 2016 by Admin

Thank you to everyone who came to meet Clare Wright at our Meet the Artist event on Saturday 13th August at Treeby & Bolton.

We are so happy that Clare could come to Treeby & Bolton for the second year running. We had a great day on Saturday and were joined by collectors as well as new customers.

  • We had a large selection of Clare’s lovely art on the walls
  • Clare with two happy new customers!
  • Clare chatting with a customer and Paula from Treeby’s

Mother of two Clare Wright was born in London and has had an interesting journey to her reinvention as an artist.

After completing her education in Southport, she attended university in France and it was during her time there that her love of European art started. She has a degree in Nautical Science and having qualified as Navigation Officer, was the first female officer in an international company.

Her love of art began while she was recovering from an operation which could have left her paralysed. As a result of the operation, Clare couldn’t resume what was quite a physical job.

Clare began working on canvas, before developing a range of artwork on coloured aluminium, creating a water, splash effect and 3D Originals. She developed a process ‘liquid glass’ and now her business is thriving on her flair for contemporary colour, texture and diverse materials such as liquid glass, metal and Swarovski crystal.

Now with a flourishing business and celebrity clients the thrill and her passion for her work is ever-growing.

Amongst Clare’s best sellers we also had new art and limited editions on display, and as usual she conveys her bubbly and colourful personality into her original work.

Every piece is hand-made by Clare and she is more than happy to incorporate any special requests from customers into the commissioned pieces. As a result she will be busy for the next couple of months.

Thank you to everyone who took time to come and see Clare, we hope to see you all again soon!

Clare’s work will be on display in the gallery until Sunday 21st August.
