More information
Mother of two Clare Wright was born in London and has had an interesting journey to her reinvention as an artist.
After completing her education in Southport, she attended university in France and it was during her time there that her love of European art started. She has a degree in Nautical Science and having qualified as Navigation Officer, was the first female officer in an international company.
Her love of art began while she was recovering from an operation which could have left her paralysed. As a result of the operation, Clare couldn’t resume what was quite a physical job.
Clare began working on canvas, before developing a range of artwork on coloured aluminium, creating a water, splash effect and 3D Originals. She developed a process ‘liquid glass’ and now her business is thriving on her flair for contemporary colour, texture and diverse materials such as liquid glass, metal and Swarovski crystal.
Now with a flourishing business and celebrity clients the thrill and her passion for her work is ever-growing.
She said: “It’s lovely to create something that people will like and think amazing and is the ultimate compliment.”
“It’s true that life happens while you’re making plans, there have been problems, but it’s nice to get recognition for all your hard work.”
Clare supplies UK stores, Europe and has the USA in her sights for further expansion.
Her work ranges from hand-embellished prints, to 3D art on polished chrome panels.
All of Clare’s work is created by her alone and each piece is individually made and signed.
