We are delighted to announce that the new collection of Marvel Superheroes will be arriving in the gallery this summer.
On Friday 24th July, the fourth instalment to the record-breaking Marvel Superheroes series will be available to view and buy at Treeby & Bolton. The new collection consists of six images that pay homage to some of Marvel’s most memorable characters, including Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man and Wolverine.
As always the new collection is created, curated and hand-signed by comic book legend Stan Lee, the man who – along with comic book artists such as Jack Kirby – is responsible for the creation of many of the comic’s most well-loved characters. Stan Lee is credited with introducing complex characters that go beyond the archetypal American superhero stereotype, and each comic book cover attempts to capture these characters’ myriad complexities and vulnerabilities; telling a story within one image. These covers encapsulate Stan Lee’s complex, three-dimensional characters which have won the hearts of fans the world over and gone on to become global entertainment sensations.
The collection is available in both giclee on paper and boxed canvas editions, and will be available to view and buy in the gallery from Friday 24th July. Please contact us for more information.
